Lets go just what i needed. I recently imported a car from Japan that has an RB25 I heard they have oil issue at high HP, I don't plan on building a high horsepower RB just a daily.

Its only an issue when people upgrade the stock oil pump and don't upgrade the sump and select the correct head restrictors for it.

If a valve job was done by a competent machine shop, you do not need to lap the valves. It's just a big waste of time. It won't hurt anything to do it, just not necessary. Modern day engine machining has come a long way from when hand lapping valves was necessary.

Sam, I think putting the RB25 into the Bogan 32 is perfect. As for the next motor for the 33.4, an RB30 witn an RB25 head would be extra special. As for a Barra build, the JZX100 would be the best, as the inlet & exhaust are on the same side, unlike the Nissan's. As for what's a consumable on a race motor, even the block is is consumable.

When I was doing my rb20det. I asked my tunner about head drains. He said they don't really work all that well. Because at lot of the time instead of draining oil from the head, it ends up sending more oil up to the head.

got the won'g stud? tho far to the other trying to fix the motor in the car... an old 4.6L ford V8. and the only think that is licensed to show up is a 640 cubic inch V8 ford Caterpillar CAT engine, the 4.6 was sold saying it has a 205hp engine, the 10.4L is a 210hp engine... only 5hp more how much of a... oh... ah... sure the 550lbft J-mod valve body 4R70 automatic transmission will love it, the old 4.6 wouldn't idle till the car was going 90km/hr pushing the 5300 pound cab at 1100rpm without touching the idle or gas that was only adjusted so that it wouldn't stall sitting in gear. ... 5300lb at 90km/hr 3400ft up was 84 to 130hp idle setting, that's a 500lbft stall on the converter... motor needs to make that at idle stall speed or it does stall the motor. the 4.6 coughed and quit just trying to idle that automatic converter.
