Building a SaaS from scratch using Django and Vue.js - Introduction

In this video series I will build a SaaS from scratch where I show you everything. I'm going to start by installing Django and create an empty project. Then I'm building the whole project piece by piece until I'm ready to deploy it.
The project is going to be built using Django and Vue.js. I hope that seeing a project be built from scratch like this will inspire and help you to build something cool.
I will try to do as little editing as possible to make it feel as real as possible, but I'm going to cut away boring parts like to many typos and if I need to do too much research.

Hi, Is SAAS similar or the same with MULTITENANT (Django SAAS=Django MULTITENANT)?

Hi! I think maybe people have different opinions on what a SaaS is. The project I'm building in this series might not be a SaaS in the traditional way with multiple databases, custom domains and so on. The SaaS in this project is more like "A software you can use to categorize and save your favorite bookmarks". Since I'm also going to implement a payment solution here, you'll also get the subscription model you need. I hope this clarifies a little bit and that it's exciting to build anyway :-)

Is there any advantage vue can do better than bootstrap?

You can't actually compare them because Bootstrap is a CSS library and Vue.js is a JavaScript library. I like to use bulma instead of bootstrap as CSS library though, because is much cleaner and light weigth 😉
