@sunnyscunny how do you? Do you start off a new city layout successfull(ie right at the beginning of the game). I use road hierarchy, but I always seem to end up with bad road infrastructure, which causes huge amounts of traffic. Any tips would be grateful, please?

I'm not running the highest settings, but I find that adjusting the time of day with a mod is beneficial, as the default daylight mode tends to look somewhat lackluster

Our of sequence viewing but what the heck eh? I would recommend adding _Traffic_ to you mods list, so you can remove U-turns and sideways movements at your border crossing. Oh, and a _lot_ more high industrial fence (01) to stop those cheeky folks that want to skip in across the fields...
