Yes! Finally get to see the build of this one, I’ve loved it ever since you put that short up not too long ago.. the pink is so bright I don’t think the camera is doing it justice 😅

Haha yeah the pink is extremely vivid IRL. I thought my Handjob was a bright vivid pink but next to this is looks almost plain!

I love this. Blue and pink is a great choice. Definitely change the tyres for white or tan was to complete the look.

Nice build Mark, that came out spectacularly well ( especially that pink colour and blue accents ) and it looks to be the simple relaxed ride you were after ! I was very close to buying a powder blue Plug around 15 years ago when they were still relatively new, but I just couldn't justify the cost and storage space at the time, but I still keep an eye out for a good second hand one as I still like the styling !

Thanks! This one is a 2015 I think. I think it’s quite a relaxed ride. Front brake squeals a bit despite adjustments but apparently that’s a thing with the plug 🤷‍♂️

that's something i've never tried is build a wheel from scratch! is that just oil you're dipping the spoke threads in to?

Yeah it’s just ATF. I’ve seen people use a variety of things but it’s just to make tensioning a bit easier.

Meh. I don’t like single speed but I enjoy riding fixed. I can still ride hills. Just have to get the right ratio or be prepared to put in the effort.

JONES H bar or any bar with a bit of back sweep will help.

Whatever you feel comfortable on! Everyone will have a different opinion. I love Bullmoose bars for a relaxed position but they don't always work on a bike. Sometimes a simple flat bar works well.
