When it comes to survival my biggest disappointment is that all my favorite youtubers are in different worlds. I understand playing at the same time is difficult but it'd be awesome to share a save file and take turns at adding something.

One of my favorite things is mobile bases, ( I really wish the railroad tracks mod could be fully Implemented into the survival map). I started off with a flatbed with the craft bot and refinery so I could spend days away from home looting, I eventually built my way to the sand crawler from star wars. Definitely my favorite build ever. If you want ideas for a project to work on, I would be interested in seeing your take on a mobile base.

Build a floating mobile base on the water where you store your crafting stations and vehicles. When chapter 2 comes out adapt it to be mobile mining base. Like for Moonbo to see...

@Moonbo, I was looking at your parking space/refinery setup, and I was wondering if you could create an automatic unloaded for the chest on your exploration vehicle using pumps. Can you pump out of a chest into a pump feeding a chest?

Instead of hanging the body from the pistons, sit the body on top of the pistons. That way, the ‘off’ setting’s sag has a limited effect.

the mech-legs are small enough to fit in a warehouse elevator, use them for a 4 story warehouse raid moonbo, no orbit, no phazes. (When pistons are connected to a controller their strength is reliant on the speed of the controller, you could try and use timers and logic to have the pistons be independent or possibly use a third controller on max speed, last thing a combination of wood 3 and metal 3 blocks are the best defensive blocks for creations against all bots. Wood 3 is for filler material and body work while the metal 3 can be applied as plating to shield components and joints.)

Moonbo, if you stack pistons at max speed on controller it works better. Also you can use concrete slab blocks for max friction but I am not sure if this second one helps.

in surival the stabilisation glitch is not very good but the steering glitch still works, but i have discovered an other glitch that might be useful. if you place 2bearings in line or 4 in a square, and simply put blocks welded to each other on the bearings, if you hook it up to a controller it has a shit ton of torque (and it turns so it allows to put even width wheels on bearings). if you put two of those rotating in opposite directions it might stabilise (like a gyroscope)

I followed the controller setup exactly the same but the leg that lifts up second seems to have a delay before returning into the turning motion which causes it to desync. If anyone knows what is happening pls comment

you should try to put 2 sensors on each feet and then use some logic to make the feet face the normal of the object its on so it could climb up and over harder things.

Did I miss it? Has @Moobo changed the pistons to the highest tier and max speed? As they get stronger with higher tier and higher speed. What is sad, because a divided selection of speed and force would be really useful.

Upgrade the mech suit! First upgrade: add some spud guns in some way. Upgrade 2 add claws to the top to pass the log to for storage, or replace the collector with a log storage. Then build a truck and trailer, trailer could have rows of claws to grab logs. Drive trailer back to unloader variant mech that loads logs into a saw mill. Hello? Chapter 2 are you out there? O.O

Try making it a four legged walker. If two pistons cant hold the collector then maybe 4 pistons can. Its gonna be rough but is it worth the testing to find out

Isn’t the suspension glitch supposed to be lose so it can push against the creation because if the top is welded it won’t spin and push thus not glitch.

what would happen if you put suspension on the ankles? my thinking is that you might be able to walk a bit smoother with some shock absorption. also i've found that sensor activated suspension glitch stablezation is more effective for staying upright in survival.
