exceptionally cool snow effects there, thank you for showing your approach :) its nice to see how that wilder stuff combined with the modelling goop works. i´d like to add that your video has a very nice pace, its very nice to watch besides the information it contains. well done!

excellent tutorial, I used sculptamold on a winter diorama in which I applied strictly with a paint brush. turned out pretty well but looked more like ice. your technique using your fingers to apply and smooth turned out great. I will definitely try that approach next time! Thanks for sharing!

Great vid! Very useful! To save on the clay you might also consider building up the base with foam sheet. That way you use less and the trying time will be much quicker

I started my day with a long list of things to do, but I sat down with my coffee first to watch a couple of your tutorials, and now it's nearly 5:00 p.m., my eyes are red and blurry, I missed lunch, and haven't done a single thing on my to-do list! But it's well worth it. Something about your style just clicks with me, and gives me confidence that I can do something similar. Thanks for all the time you've put in for our benefit. Masterful!!

They're a really great to start your diorama off of. Another one is wooden plaques - the kind that would have an award on them or something. You can get those from stores that make those awards, and just buy them without the plaque on top I'm sure :)

Not sure if Canada has Dollar Tree stores, but those of you watching this, you can buy the frames he uses for $1.00 not $7+ in the Great White North. And that is for all the sizes. 6x8 8x10 and smaller for smaller scale models you build. A buck apiece ... Can't go wrong there....

Great job...on the tank AND the ground work! Thanks for sharing. I really enjoy your videos. Lots of great tips and I pick up lots of good advice and ideas. One question on this video...I saw you made track marks in the Sculpt-A-Mold. I imagine that you just pressed the tank down at some point in the drying time. Can you elaborate on your process?
@Panzermeister368 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes I just put the tank on Sculptamold to make sure the suspension was properly aligned with the shape of the ground. I didn't force it, just gently press a little bit. Hope that helps!

@forbeshutton54877 жыл бұрын
Dollorama has picture frames and also cutting boards that can be used as a base. Along with cotton buds, cheap brushes (hate cleaning brushes, I'd rather through out cheap brushes and clean only the good ones), cheap acrylic paint (good for basecoating dioramas), toothpicks, plastic dishes for mixing plaster, stainers, plastic shot glasses for mixing paint. The dollar store can be a gold mine for a modeller. And the have mylar strips attached to noisemakers for the laser proof coating in model tank periscopes.

Very nice tutorial. Very informative. Question: Does the Sculptamold yellow over time? Or Does it stay white?
@Panzermeister365 жыл бұрын
It has not yellowed for me yet on this piece. I have some other examples of places where it's sat for over 5 years and it still looks to be white, though I can only really tell from the small side of a diorama in that case as it was covered in grass.

I have absolutely no idea how much time consuming it is. But mhm, i subscribed to your channel to make myself a few ones from particular divisions, though i never did any and just watch your vids for the pleasure of it nowadays lol. But mhm, this one with the winter, it's like if you bring back a panzer III J during the battle of Kharkov :). Do you have an idea? Personally i guess around 200€ or more.

Nice project. What would you use to glue tank to material. Thanks
@Panzermeister366 жыл бұрын
Super glue most likely. Or you could use a bolt through the tank into the base, when you could tighten or remove the bolt through the tank with the turret off in case you ever need to take the tank off.
