Really good video. Thanks. I'm trying to create a handrail model that inserts a post component between the start, end and junctions at a spacing no greater than 8 ft. This would be necessary for long handrails. However, I can't get the start and end setbacks to work on the intermediate posts. The balusters just go right through resulting in unacceptable spacing at those posts. Any suggestions?

Justin, I did purchase this extension. I think for standard rendering I would use Chuck Valdi's Fence. This would be great for designers that are doing custom fences. Way too complicated for standard fences! Thanks for the video so I can choose the right plug in for specific needs.

I think I agree with your assessment - Profile Builder is easier for creating custom profiles, but Chuck's extension has some really great pre-made ones built in - thanks!

Thanks fore all the great videos you are sharing with us, they are really, really helpful! Can you use this handrail up and down in staircases aswell? I can´t seem to make it work, the handrailpieces just gets out of place all the time.

I don't know that this particular one will. However, if you look in the built-in example assemblies that come with Profile Builder, there is a stair and rail assembly with a handrail that goes up and down - I'd recommend taking a look at that one and seeing how it's built. Thanks for watching!

Great Video Jason, I see that you have a "Default tray" for all your tool boxes. How do you set that up. I have Sketchup Pro and use an iMac

Hi Steve - you can manage your trays on the PC version by going up to "Window," and "Default Tray," then making your selections. I'm not 100% sure what it looks like in the mac version. Thanks!
