Building a Smurf House FROM START TO FINISH with Luxon Bushcraft

Hello everyone!
While building my shelter, I realized that I was building something that I had dreamed of as a child. I didn't have to think much as if the details were planned long ago. I especially enjoy building fairytale houses in the forest.
This video will show how I built a smurf house in the wild with a fireplace inside from natural materials. Wood and mud were used to build the house, and the hearth and chimney were built of stone and clay.
I will also show you how I arranged the interior of the shelter.
I make wall coverings from reeds that I found by the nearby river. Then I made a wooden floor from dead trees. I coat the outer walls with mud in two layers, to get a smooth surface.
In front of the house, I place stone pebbles and grout them with moss. I paint the walls with lime as our ancestors used to do. You will also see how I made a table and a bench near the house and cooked a rabbit in a clay pot.

Good old wattle and daub construction, making good shelters since the bronze or maybe even the stone age!

But real daub is made with horse poop. I would not want to use dog poop though and no horses seemed available.

Classic wattle and daub construction. A style that's been around for thousands of years simply because it works, and works well.
