TRIP 1.- Underground Stone Shelter, Hiding from the Blizzard and Cold
Hello everyone!
In the first part of my journey , you will see how I hid in an underground stone shelter of an abandoned village deep in the forest during a snowstorm and freezing cold. I will show you how I took advantage of the current situation and turned an icy stone bunker into a comfortable and warm shelter in which it is possible to stay for a long time. I learned about the village from the elders a few years ago, but I never visited it until last summer, when I spent a night in a cave located very close to the abandoned houses and took a video. That day I did some research around the village and found a beautiful stone shelter in good condition. The idea immediately dawned on me that I must spend at least one winter night here. That's why I brought fresh straw to the shelter during the summer months in case I had to take shelter immediately from an unexpected situation. I woke up that winter morning and there was a blizzard, that's what I was waiting for, ideal weather for a new challenge. Knowing what awaited me in the village, I prepared simple hand tools such as a knife, hammer, pliers, sheet metal shears, some wire and a few nails. I packed food and water for the dog and myself, put my backpack on my shoulders and headed into the forest. The shelter didn't need much work, so I made a very efficient stove out of tin scrap that I found in abandoned and dilapidated houses, which kept me warm during the long and cold winter night. You will also see a quick and easy army bed improvisation I made from a tent wing.
I spent the night with the candles burning, the fire crackling in my stove and the wind howling with the snow blizzard. My dog Lajka and I record another exciting and interesting adventure.
TRIP 2.- 3 Days Bushcraft Winter Camping in Rain and Snow-Survival Skills, Campfire Cooking
In the second part of my journey, you will see how my dog and I spent 3 days of winter camping in the rain, cold and snow. I will also show you how I turned a natural shelter under a rock into a comfortable and efficient bushcraft shelter with a fireplace that warmed me during the long winter night. I made a military-style bed from a tent wing that I placed on a simple wooden tripod. The plant I eat raw at the beginning of the video is wild garlic, and the yellow flower I pick and later make tea from is the primrose plant. The temperature dropped to -5 degrees Celsius at night. This was another unforgettable adventure that I am sharing with you.
TRIP 3.- Survive in the Wilderness, Heavy Rain NON-STOP
In the third part of my journey, you will see how my dog and I survived 24 hours in the wild heavy rain. Walking through the forest completely wet, I had to quickly find a natural shelter to hide from the heavy rain that has been falling in my area for days. I came across a small cave which, luckily for me, was completely dry. I decided to settle down there, I quickly take off my wet clothes and make myself a poncho from a woolen blanket, which normally serves as a rug for my dog when we stay in the wilderness. Then I look for a dry, dead tree still standing upright in the ground, as such a tree usually does much better in wet conditions than one lying on the ground. For kindling, I use the mushroom Fomes fomentarius, if I fail to start a fire in such difficult conditions, the mushroom gives me a long-lasting glow, and thus more time for new attempts. I make the tea I drink from dried cranberry berries, I ate a few homemade sausages and I collect rainwater to drink. If you find yourself in such a situation, you don't have time to enjoy yourself, all the time you are focused only on survival. The day and night were quite cold, but the shelter was cozy and warm. I tested myself with this adventure and I have to admit that I had a lot of fun, that's how I am, and I love it🙂...
Thanks for watching, I hope you like it.
