Building a solutions journalism culture in your newsroom

Communities want information that can help solve problems, not just stories telling them that problems exist. In 2022, five newsrooms from across the U.S. tackled the challenge of building solutions journalism into their regular coverage, and helping their audiences understand and support it.
Along the way, they learned valuable lessons that they shared in an AMA session about what they did, how they did it, what they learned, and what they’re still working on.
