as a steel construction manager in germany, I have to admit that this is a litle different than what I know, but as far as I can tell, it should be a really sturdy construction. Way better than all those wooden buildings I have seen in the states. Well done =) However, the safety regulations were not met xD I'm glad you all survived ^^

Can, and do, OSHA take action based on KZbin videos? The guys met Paul from FabRats last year, and he had a situation where he was charged with moving a boat that might have some sort of mussel on its hull. That was not safety related, and the official who made the infringement was a jumped up jerk, but it was based on Paul’s KZbin footage. Either way, I am just glad that no one fell. I fell a similar height onto dirt 15 odd years ago, and broke my back and three ribs, and that has been life changing for me. I can still walk, but I have chronic pain.

These videos are so wholesome to watch. But I have to say, the camera work and editing (including music) on these are just above and beyond. It wouldn’t be the same thing without it. You guys make a great team really complementing each other to create truly epic content! I love it ❤

I completely disagree, editing is jarring and seems intentionally backwards to presumably add minutes to the video. Timelapses show previsiosly seen elements and do nothing to show progression when the progress has ready been showcased.

With all the rain / snow coming off the back of that roof , you may want to put in an asphalt or concrete drainage ditch leading into the woods . Too much ground water will seep between the wall and floor making a mess in your " Premium " new shop . Plus the erosion will damage the yard and driveway . Just a suggestion from a long time subscriber who is in the trades . Looking forward to the next video , keep up the good work !!

@@906MediaProductions First of all, Michigan Represent! right on Lake Michigan in the lower peninsula myself. Second, In floor heat is awesome for vehicle garages, and tube heaters are a great addition. @@kalathos0042 propane for now, but looking into a clean waste oil burner to offset it. Wood is nice for the cost if you have the land, but it's awful when you need to constantly feed it, someone always has to be around to feed the boiler. @@906MediaProductions 100% get that, growing up my parents heated with wood. they had a propane furnace but would never really use it unless we were gone for some reason and couldn't keep feeding the wood stove. and yes, it is cheap to feed but there is a lot of labor involved. i remember spending most of the summers just cutting, splitting and stacking wood for the winters.

As the old man that still. Does 💯 of the bad naughty not safe methods every single day, I will say the following: don't use hydraulics as scaffolding UNTIL you have seen a bucket drop to the ground from a random hose failure. Don't climb on upright single beams UNTIL you've seen them fall over like pixie sticks and smash everything. Steel toed leather work boots everyday all the time. But of course you should experience welding splatter burns on the top of your sneaker feet or hot cutoff torch parts melting through the bottom of your Crocs. Totally worth it. Safety glasses fog up, but so does your vision when the metal shavings get in there. It's fine.

True and I watch on my TV through my Roku and sometimes the like button does not register, also can't leave comments on Roku. so I go on my phone like and at least leave a comment. Even if it's just "comment"

The thin head bolt is probably meant to hold the first girt/purlin before the lapping of the next girt/purlin.

Nooice, new shop coming along! I hope you'll polish or paint floor with an epoxy or urethane-based paint, so it doesn't generate dust.

Putting the limo in there really puts it into perspective how big the garage is! That's gonna be awesome for your projects!

Man this thing is really coming together. Cant wait to see it in use. Ive got 1 concern though. I know that you have graded the ground to direct water away on the back side but yall should definitely still do some kind of French drain to keep water running off the back of the roof from eroding the hill.

Your getting older brother. Staying warm , and a hoist will help a lot. I'm really happy for you and everyone involved.
