Es freut mich sehr, wenn mein Projekt auch anderen gefällt. 6x20mm macht durchaus Sinn da beim Aufbau die Leisten in sich verdreht werden müssen zu den Steven hin. So ergibt sich dann eine sehr gefällige Form.

Sind die Leisten mit Rindungen und Nuten gefräst?

Guten Tag Richtig, die Leisten sind an den Schmalseiten mit Nut und Kehle gefräst. Wenn ich mich nicht täusche waren das Radius = ca. 6mm

Sehr geile Videos bisher! Schön kurz und knackig und trotzdem sind ein paar richtig geniale Tipps dabei. Was hast du denn zum Verspachteln der Ritzen verwendet?

Hallo Simon Schön wenn die Videos gefallen, freut mich. In den Untertiteln gibt es jeweils weitere Informationen. Zum Füllen der Ritzen habe ich Epoxidharz mit Microballons und Schleifstaub vermischt.

I'm no engineer but it would be stronger if you sandwich the strips between two layers of wood but you're not doing that you're cutting away everything that would be sandwiched between two layers of wood. This is not for me. And I don't really care if this is how it's always been done.

Unfortunately I don't understand the statement. Maybe it's the Google Translate problem. It is a sandwich made of glass - wood - glass. Nothing was cut away from what was supposed to be a sandwich. And the stability is more than sufficient. But there are certainly different ways to build a canoe. My way is by no means the only right one.
