Greetings, I really appreciate this series of videos. I’ve read the articles and the books, but having something to watch helps a lot. Especially when you’re doing it on your own. I hope you will answer a question about glue. For years I have tried to come to terms with CA glues. I’m sorry, I just don’t understand them. Titebond, I’m fine. Duco, okay. Epoxy, when it’s needed. I haven’t tried Polyurethane. But I just can’t work with CA glues. Most of the time I’m perfectly happy with Titebond, I don’t need an instant bond. But I want to try hand launch gliders. How much assembly can I do with Titebond? I suppose I could resort to Duco, but I prefer odor free glue. Kind of a simple question, but you’ve got to start somewhere. Let’s be careful out there.

@james.. it is our pleasure to provide any assistance we can. For your glue question most all glider construction can be accomplished with carpenter glues like titebond.timezone.. the bonding strength with balsa is excellent.. you just have to be more patient

... just a question of a beginner : Wouldn't it make more sense to sand the wing in one piece with the sanding board so both halves would be "more" symmetrical? Here in Germany, the balsa boards are about 1 meter long ...

If you have the wood and the room to do it in one piece that is certainly a good way to do it. Typically these larger TLG kits don't want to ship the full length of wing stock.
