Hey Pete! Pretty cheap way to remove echo from a room... Screw cargo blankets to the ceiling and/or walls. Use 2x2's to space it off the ceiling for an air gap. Makes it work MUCH better. Use white or gray blankets. Blue makes flesh tones look weird and don't reflect as much light. I also wonder if you put a small VFD in your light circuit, if you could tune the frequency to match your camera?

Would love to see a video explaining what blocks you use and why. Do you have a particular all-rounder you’ve had most success with? And for example if a customer wants 1200hp you would use a particular block but if the customer wants 1800 you would use the same block with the addition of fire rings. Do you deal mainly with iron blocks or will you still use the aluminium ones? Theres a lot of choice out there these days- LSX, dart LS next, LS2,LS3,LSA, the budget iron truck blocks thrown into the mix are popular these days up to about 800-1000hp ay? Cheers mate!

So your saying "Different strokes for different folks" Pete if your looking for more of these "Beer runner" packages I think you should offer the CJR package with a suggestion of the s10 trans, gear ratio, tire size and sell your engine with the base map tune that you end up with in the S10. I don't think it is honestly the best option but I bet you could get a ton of work from people that would rather a Pete Harrold tuned/CJRC spec package instead of a personalized more suitable package they don't know anything about. I think it'll be a great outline for folks wanting to get into drag and drive but don't cause they are lost in all the options.

When your good at doing stuff , There is no such thing as budget builds . Every build will be high quality . But if anybody is wondering we did a super budget 5.3 , the only major thing we did was o ring the block and heads. and ring gap. stock head bolts stock crank and rod bolts. held 43 psi on engine dyno at 8800 rpm. stock cam stock springs lol we littery destroyed this motor for testing 43 psi made 1579 hp crack the mains but the heads held on for dearlife lol
