Come along as I build Wildwood Design's wall hanging grandfather clock on my DeWalt Scroll Saw. In this first episode, we'll go over the project, adhere the pattern to wood, drill pilot holes and start making inside cuts while I give tips and tricks along the way.
Part 2 is HERE: • Scrolling The Wall Han...
Part 3 is HERE: • Scroll Sawing Inside C...
Supply links are in my Amazon link below 👇🏼

🍹 Our Tiki71 Amazon Storefront is filled with the things we use and like & it’s a convenient way to check out what you see on our channel & it adds ABSOLUTELY no cost to you 🥂: www.amazon.com...
More on that below 👇🏼
👉🏽If you see something you like in one of our videos, there’s a good chance we’ve put it on our curated Amazon page: www.amazon.com... If you click through and buy something, we receive a small a very small commission (as little as 1%) that costs you NOTHING extra, but it helps with the costs of delivering content, so Ma-halo (thank you)! 🤟🏼

👎🏼 I DO NOT buy, nor recommend plant SEEDS on Amazon, only live plant from sellers well rated. I've had too many bogus experiences.
👍🏼 I absolutely DO recommend Amazon on live plants that you can’t get locally. Several of our multi-year tropicals have come from good suppliers on Amazon (like (Logee’s, American Plant Exchange, Cold Hardy Farms, Costa Farms, Old Oaks Nursery, Hirts, etc.) and arrived alive and well.

For BIG patterns like this one you can contact Wildwood Designs and get a permission letter that will allow you to make copies at a print shop. I had to use a local blueprint shop with a really big printer. For folks that aren't comfortable with stack cutting, it's certainly the thing to do, since you will need multiple copies just to get the project done.

I'm using a #5 Olsen Reverse Tooth blade. I'm still working on the project and will be doing multiple episodes on this clock so I'll let you know when I'm through. With stack cutting, finishing and assembly, I think 26 hours is a pretty reasonable estimate. We'll see ;-)

What size and brand blade do you use for this project? Also how long did it take you to cut and assemble the project until it was finished, more than 26 hours do you think? I have just recently started scrolling for less than a 3/4 of a year now, I think a project like this would be really nice for the assembly and fret work involved, Thanks alot

Here is the actual link to the grandfather clock plan if anyone is still interested. cherrytreetoys.com/wall-hanging-grandfather-clock-plan/ I personally have purchased many plans from Cherry Tree and they are quite good. However. you do need some woodworking skills, to begin with. This plan is not for amateurs or folks just starting out.

Hi, was just wondering, have you made the Mill Clock from wildwood designs? If so can you tell me how was your experience ordering the parts kit? I'm in the process of finishing that clock but there's some pieces missing from the kit. No batteries even though it clearly states on their web site that they are included, missing screws and I think missing parts of the bearings (plastic sleeve). I've email them multiple times regarding this and other issues but have yet to get a single reply, looks like their customer support is non existent.

This is a test of the new screwed up commenting system the google/KZbin empire has created. If I add a + to my username like: Reaganite71 it makes my g+ account show up when hovered over. I also understand that... we can now post half a Tom Clancy novel in the comment section and add links to videos (that will parse into the actual title of the video). Unless the mouse hovers over the link: Scrolling The Wall Hanging Grandfather Clock Pt. 2 Advanced Scroll Saw Fretwork Project It will simply look like someone was typing a sentence I suppose. I really wish google would slow down in their effort to "improve" KZbin. I fear they're really going to screw up the community aspect now that commenting is more difficult. I hope I'm wrong though.
