I was curious why you didn't make both the power and reset buttons on one side. (one facing North and one facing South) My idea is that you can then make the 4x5 layout and possibly save some desk space.

Issue is the battery, it’s large which is nice but I wouldn’t be able to screw down the plate.

sick build! how difficult would it be to make a keyboard with hall-effect switches to mimic the type of performance on keyboards like the wooting?

to my knowledge, there are no custom hall-effect keyboards. I also don't think there's any keyboard software that would support it so that would have to be custom too.

Hello, thanks for the videos. I would like to make the ScottoErgo but I would prefer to use a USB-C cable, with the existing design can the cable be connected in some way? Would it be very difficult to modify the design?

Would be as simple as modifying the controller section to use a USB-C pico and then put a cutout for the port.

Is it possible to use the keyboard as a power source, like a power bank, if there's a battery installed in it? I really like small keyboards, and I think it would be cool if I could also use it as a power bank when not in use, especially when I'm traveling. Does it need another power module besides the NiceNano for it to output power from the battery?

There would definitely be more circuitry involved. That said, I think it would be as simple as a 3 position switch and a power board.
