Building a woods road with small equipment. Bobcat 325 mini excavator & Mustang 330 skid steer

In this video I continue working to clear part of the woods to build a road to where my homestead will be. This section of road has big trees and a tremendous number of large boulders many too big for my equipment to handle, but I am doing my best to move these large rocks.

Love my 325G excavator....handy as hell around the property. I have a hydraulic thumb and use it allot for tree work. What size bucket was that? The hydraulics are pretty impressive on these machines...surprise me allot sometimes....LOL. Do you move the bobcat yourself?

Hi Ken hey thanks for subscribing. I bought the 325 last year. It had about 5600 hrs. I have only put on maybe 60-80 hrs. Honestly it is too small for the rocks I am dealing with but I have been amazed at what it can do. When I bought it there was an intermittent issue with the battery charging circuit. It took some time but I tracked it down to a short in the harness that I was able to fix. I filmed it but lost the SD card lol. Anyways, take care.

No a few months prior to buying it I started following the ones for sale on CL. When I made the decision to buy it was the first one I found in my price range. I did inquire about buying a used one from the Bobcat but they were very pricey, but I was able to learn from them what major issues to look out for in a used machine.
