One old tip from a old painter. @ 30:58 you build your own window frame with I assume a piece of glass installed. You assembled the frame then installed the glass. The proper method is to"PRIME" the whole frame completely with a exterior OIL BASED primer... including in the grooves for the glass. Then after a few days of the primer drying and curing...then seal with your chaulking material...then assemble the frame. I would also recommend not using a 100% Silicone in the groove because if some gets on the face of the frame the finish coat of paint will not stick/bond! The finish coat will continually dispurce...the oil primer will give the frame added protection on all sides from any moisture. We used to oil prime exterior facure boards front back and edges for added protection on new construction. Of course today 🙄 😒 money/time is the bottom line. FYI...Das 😎all! ❤👍Nice job guys!👍😎

He had concrete footings and a stable ground base. The ground is already stable and settled. It's hasn't been dug out so it's a solid base.

When placing the boards to the concrete blocks, is it necessary to put some adhesive on the wood and blocks or is the weaight of the structure good enough?

I would recommend next time using a small airless paint sprayer. That little cup gun probably had to refilled every 10-15 minutes and most likely took forever. An airless fits in a 5-gallon. Bucket of paint and you don’t stop spraying until you’re done or the bucket is empty

1. Прокладка электропроводки внутри стен деревянного дома должна осуществляться в металлорукаве. Иначе можно прокладывать только поверх стен на изоляторах. 2. Почему пол утеплили и даже запенили экструдированным пенополистиролом и даже запенили, в то время, как стены заполнили каким-то непонятным утеплителем, который абсолютно не держит тепло и отлично служит домом для грызунов

Там кроме тренажёра ещё и свободные веса(штанга) есть - при хороших нагрузках и таком фундаменте гулять всё будет весьма неприятно. В Москве и Московской области парни жалуются на гуляющий профессиональный помост eleiko, а тут даже любитель имеет шансы почувствовать нестабильность.

Definitivamente lo que vemos cada día la tecnología de la construcción avanza pero con diseños de caducidad o de poca duración y material fácilmente inflamable a parte que los hogares tienen un tamaño tan reducido que parecen un gallinero o pensado para una sola persona sin familia. De paso, se puede decir que no es tan económico. En este caso fue un gimnasio, pero también se les ha visto en otros videos construcción como hogar de residencia.

As a painter of 20 years, I never use a sprayer on the outside. Not unless you plan on spraying it 5 times you aren't putting any paint on. Several people that I know have bought a really nice house, gated community, and wonder why they are having problems in 5yrs or so. I really do like the overall design....

Not putting it on a permanent foundation is a way of circumnavigating building code in America. No permitting involved with this build. You might act like that’s a bad thing, but it’s a principle called Freedom.

I would say this guys built a house or two in his days. Man... Excellent work and no corners cut anywhere. If I were nitpicking, and you may have a reason for it, but I normally would frame the deck at a quarter bubble away from the house to allow for water run off. Again, just an observation. Great Work!
