@EverydayShed9 ай бұрын
We will be covering ALL shed topics in the future 🙂. We will most likely spray foam this one trying out a few different options with a breakdown on cost. If I had to guess we are a couple months out from that video. Thanks for watching 👍

How do you get A=47.25” ? Your shed is 8’x12’. Half of 8 is 4ft, which is 48”. Or do you used (96” -1.5” ridge beam) /2 =94.5”/2=47.25”? But you don’t have a ridge beam.
@EverydayShed9 ай бұрын
The shed is 8 feet wide, but in reality the wall were 94.5inche wide, hence half of that 47.25. Thanks for watching

You made the template 4x bigger because 4 is half the width of the shed?
@EverydayShed2 ай бұрын
4x bigger is just bigger than what we need.

Can you please quote me of all the nessarary materials needed for the size shed project? I would greatly appreciate to know the cost and exactly what I should get. Thanks😊

How would i build roof truss for a soffit?
@EverydayShed6 ай бұрын
You just add the "size" of the soffit to the distance after the seat cut. In this case we added 11inches.

Why did you pick an 11" overhang, as opposed to say 10" or 12"?
@EverydayShed9 ай бұрын
Just my preference… my goal is to cover it up with 2, 1x6 hardie trim board…. A 1x6 board is 5.5” wide each…. We will see how well that works when I do the trim video. 😊

At first, I'm like wait "this is high math" then we get the non-math way and explanation of how to make jigs for cutting and constricting. I'll likely use the non-math way but because of both ways, I understand the math method better. If I do it a bunch of times, I might actually understand experientially the Pythagorean theorem. 😅. This is an excellent video for me and my audhd learning needs. Actually, finding the whole series to be quite empowering. Thanks.
