This is my first time watching one of your videos and I want to thank you for posting it. My wife and I raised 9 children together(blended families) in a similar situation to what you two are doing. In June this year we adopted a little boy that had been in our custody since he was 8 weeks old. Sadly, in September, my wife passed away from Lupus. Thankfully the other 9 children are atleast 21 and older and have been a godsend to me. They all live near by and help take care of the little boy my wife and I adopted so that I can still work. This video gave me a nice fresh of breath air because the two of you are following the same path my wife and I took. It is inspiring to see others taking a path that we did. I plan to go back to the beginning on your videos and move forward. Thank you again for posting this because it truly helps me move through the times that I have lost with a new generation following.

I agree with every word you’ve said. I found their site about the time they started putting the A Frames up and have been amazed at the rate of progress they’ve made. Josh and Erin are a rare couple to be so focused on their goals without getting bogged down with family and emotion issues. They seem to be the perfect couple. I have great admiration for them. Erin, I think Josh's injury has been a blessing in disguise. Your use of the tools has transformed in just a few short videos from 'how do i...' to lets wing it. The chop saw you are using like a pro. And hammer drill...and everything else. Now you are becoming a competent builder all by yourself. My wife and I remodeled this old 1890's farm house last year...by ourselves. Although we are a few decades older than you and Josh. Like you, we didn't have any tools, and very little experience, when we started. Now we have table saws, routers, planers, etc and our joints are tight and the repairs are hard to detect. I watch your learning curve and reflect that we did the same thing just a few months ago.....and it is so fulfilling and satisfying to know what you can accomplish. You are doing great. PS: My wife and I love working together and are better as a team than apart..just like you and Josh

I have a quick question (that might also be dumb) : It's so good to see Josh recovering nicely, and it has been great to see Erin and the young ones going at it! I love wathcing this channel and have been watching for a few years now. My way of wathcing longer KZbin videos involve quite a lot of skipping, because I have the attention span of a squirrel high on caffeine. Could someone tell me if they plan on using the space underneath the big deck for anything cool? I know they've used it to store the bikes and stuff, but I haven't picked up on anything else :-)
