If you're not getting gas through to the carburetor, sounds like the needle valve in the carburetor is stuck closed. Sometimes tapping on the side of the carburetor will free up that needle or you have to take the carburetor physically apart. Take the float off and that needle valve comes out

The reality of the situation is that mother nature had other plans but Josh and Erin worked around it! Loved to see the boys rough housing and dad coming up and showing them that Josh still has what it takes to keep them in place. LOL! Erin knew who to call. Any good auto mechanic can probably fix that mixer for you. The air filters and pipework are usually industry standard parts on those things because some people use them as part of their toolkit for earning a living; they have to be serviceable. That aside, your entire family continues to be an inspiration. The way you all work and play together is a beautiful thing to see!

Trusty Rusty just needs some TLC, the float inside or jets are blocked or gummed up, take a can of carb cleaner and spray into the fuel intake where hose attaches until its filled up and overflowing, if it doesn't overflow in a few seconds the cleaner has already freed up the stuck valve.. If it does overflow, wait ten minutes and tap on carb with something plastic like screwdriver handle to vibrate or shake valve a bit so cleaner penetrates. Reattach fuel hose and give it another try.. If that doesn't work a carburetor rebuild kit is EASY if you just video your disassembly and replacement of the parts... Erin may enjoy it as a puzzle too !

That`s is pulling out a win! My late uncle inherited a cement mixer mounted on a farm wagon. that original power was a PTO shaft drive. Eventually it had a gas motor installed. You could mix half a yard of concrete per batch. The first time i saw it i was 10, it had more rust than faded yellow paint then. It mixed many yards of concrete in family projects over the decades. The last time i saw it the day of my uncles funeral. Due to road work his funeral procession went right past his farm and his last unfinished project. Thirty years after the first time i saw it!

Remove the carburetor, completely disassemble, use compressed air and a very small wire to ensure all holes are open. Should be fine after that. Great job. Y'all are awesome.
