Meola if you sit on your hatched gigas they get imprint buff which means: 100% less damage and 30% damage without you ridin on them they will deal less damage and die faster

That went about as expected. They won't survive without healing. Stick with one fully leveled boss killer. Also, you can breed the bosses (Tempest, etc) with same method you used for the dragons, so you get imprinted.
