Make sure you replace crush washer and insert a sleeve with proper shims to get proper varying preload on the opinion gear. Also make sure you have the right shims for diff for proper backlash or the diff is trash I woulda left it alone if I was you and just replaced seals

hey man, do you set the back lash using a dial indicator just like on transmissions? Changing out shims until it's correct? Thanks in advance
