Said it before but you really gotta put a bellows on that wastegate pipe. Solid mounting it to the engine will cause issues later, start cracking welds due to vibration and heat expansion ect.

my dream of making my fk8 an NA monster by stuffing a type R k20a engine just become realistic with this series
@JonHop1 Жыл бұрын
K20/24 frank is better for NA, especially with a car as heavy as the fk8, u need that torque. Mine made 280whp with a very mild build and I got 9200rpm even with k24 bottom end.
@fkhothatchi Жыл бұрын
@@JonHop1 that is definitely one of the choices in the future. how much roughly did you spend for that spec?
@fkhothatchi Жыл бұрын
@@JonHop1 switching this to NA will automatically reduced its weight probably 150-200lbs upfront too
@JonHop1 Жыл бұрын
@fkhothatchi Old K's are almost as heavy.. you are only saving about 20-30lbs.. Old K has heavier head and heavier intake(k20c1 is plastic).. build was about $3500k total(engine and interals) but that doesn't include labor n those were 2017 prices..
@fkhothatchi Жыл бұрын
@@JonHop1 k20c1 is heavy AF look how that k24 looks punny compared to the k20c1 which has the integrated manifold, no turbo no intercooler at the very least thats 150lbs combined
