In this video we are moving some resources out to the bug out compound. Prepping for some new features. We offloaded our new c-train and organized some of the equipment. Soon we will start building the work area and off grid studio.

I would keep calling it "The Ranch". Love watching your travels. I recognize almost of the areas you travel as I used to travel most of them 50 years ago. The only difference is that they have grown up!

Nothing wrong with keeping the older trucks. Built strong and easy to work on. Old School rules!

Hi Ben! We had a fantastic lunch today at 1:00 at The Warming Hut, the BEST Reuben Sandwich that I’ve ever eaten! They told me that some of you just left 10 minutes before we got there. The family members and the other employees are extremely nice and friendly! I will definitely be back there again. It’s really close to your Mammoth office. I think that you were still in Bakersfield on Monday, October 16th? It would’ve been great to see Sadie and Ben, the dogs, but you all are busy working. Thanks again for recommending this awesome scratch kitchen!

Definitely put some wood stoves in that offgrid house and get some firewood prepped. Once a couple bigger solar flares hit us those panels and batteries are fried

The total solar eclipse in 2017 came right over us here in Salem Oregon. It was weird at 10 in the morning for it to go dark outside for a couple of minutes.

A friend of mine used to race pro and he has a track on his property, it's pretty cool! One thing to have on your radar is the potential of liability from someone getting injured. Once hospitals figure out what happened and where it happened, insurance goes after property owners because they don't want to pay on something they don't have to. California is a state that is a royal pain in the ass about stuff like that. It would be worth talking to an attorney about options. I wouldn't discuss it with your insurance company right off because they could drop you if they think you are going to build something like that. They may require you to get special insurance when it is built. Not trying to be a raincloud, but I'd hate to see you lose anything, you worked way too hard for your stuff. 😕

I agree with you Ben. If you have the property to store that equipment why not ? Everyone here in the central valley that has even a half acre does the same thing.

When you went for your ride your vacation and you came through Redding California you didn’t talk much about that. you should’ve drove up to a Shasta Dam, and seeing the three Shasta’s. Plus you should’ve stopped at the big foot museum when he was coming through Willow Creek just blasted through there.

Yeah it's the moon, lol. You could have seen moon in daytime recently, not that I noticed but if it eclipsed the sun then it's in that phase.

Are you a "hoarder?" Better question is, is it anybody's business but yours? My late wife was born and raised in the Philippines, in abject poverty; and with a background like that you can bet that absolutely EVERYTHING had value, and they were willing to take the lemons they had and make lemonade out of 'em. She was like that our entire married life, and I gotta tell ya, that came in mighty handy while we were busy raising kids and trying to move up and build our family nest egg. It came with a price, though -- a whole lotta STUFF that would pile up because neither of us had the time to refurbish, rehab, rebuild, replenish, etc. That's typically how it goes; there's potential in just about everything, it's just a question of TIME -- having the TIME to tackle all these projects, and once accomplished, do they have any economic value after all the work put in? Looking back, I would've just as soon jettisoned a lot of those little projects and just bought stuff new if we had a need for it, just to cut down on the amount of STUFF we wound up piling up and having to move from place to place. But the _premise_ behind collecting this stuff is perfectly honorable, _if_ you have the time, $, and effort to put into it. You obviously have the _room_ to compile these projects; question is, will you ever have the _time_ to put into it? Only you can answer that. You're goal-oriented, and that's the secret behind what you've accomplished in your life so far; you just need to be honest with yourself about whether you'll ever have the _time_ to put into it, and what time table you're comfortable with for getting these projects completed. Only you can answer that; you want to _enjoy_ life while you're still around to enjoy it, but if all this stuff and all these goals are what brings you fulfillment, then go for it and it doesn't matter what anybody says about it except you.

Hi are you allowing anyone else to be part of your project? Maybe a single female and daughter who no longer has a husband? It's really scary to think about how to be safe and protected if and when that day comes. Thank you.

With you on the older paid for trucks. Not your job to keep Ford and Chevy in funds with buying new stuff every couple of years. You can fix the old stuff, the new ones are just impossible.
