I hope someone from Audi Tradition is watching this incredible and most wanted build series and step in and help Dave with some more information and details about the car that doesn't exist anymore and why not provide some period correct parts for it at leastfor the interior. Once this project is done, everyone will be amazed and excited of the final results. This is some next level of quality and craftsmanship! Well done to EPS and everyone involved

Of course it hasn't blown up, this is a Quality and professional project. On YT only sewage and manure reign supreme, like donut, butchering wrecks and calling it "rebuild", the good old "I spent X to buy this" with the idiot thumbnail of hands on the side of their faces, and lastly the "Sat X years, will it drove X miles home?"

I always wanted to visit the parallel universe where Group S happened and all the various prototypes got fully developed and were able to realise their potential. Of course Audi would have gone ahead with the RS002 instead of this (much more interesting) mid-engine Quattro, but a man can dream. It's fantastic that this is getting built, can't wait to see it driving and hear what it drives like. I imagine quite a lot of the Quattro's handling idiosyncrasies would be fixed by putting the engine in the middle, obviously the secret project guys at Audi thought the same. Great stuff.

Amazing attention to detail and great craftsmanship - what en epic build. These cars represent the general mindset of the 80s like only a few other examples, Gordon Gekko being one of them. The idea of capitalism, the almost unbreakable believe in technology and innovation formed a unique environment where boundaries were just meant to be pushed further and further or ignored completely. We should conserve some of this for today :-)

Sorry, but I have to leave a little bit racist comment on this. When I (as a German) see every day British craftsmanship then I start crying and I honestly believe without all the Polish in the UK the country would burn down to the ground. The average British craftsman only knows two tools, gaffer tape and a hammer. And then there are people like you. What you do is not longer craftsmanship, it is art. Unbelievable the attention to detail absolute great fabrication quality, stunning from every angle. Why are there only these extremes in Britain? I really don't get it. Absolutely stunning work, highly appreciated!

great idea, which engine will come in rs3 5 cylinder or v8 turbo from an r8? jp performance gold g3 project is a similar idea, but the use a golf3 body of a trellis frame with the audi r8 technic. the rs001 in soport quattro look would be the much unique body for that project. do you have some infos for us, why the rs 001 should looks like an sportquattro and not like the existing ones rs002 from audi tradition
