I have played through Baldur's Gate so, so many times. And I have never seen this encounter. Holy crap, this game keeps on giving 25 years later. Truly one of the greatest of all time.

love your no-nonsense approach to videos, I can't imagine it's good for the "algorithm" or whatever but it's undeniably a better viewing experience

Dude, yes. It's kind of interesting how you notice which crafter channels game the algorithm and which don't care to, they just want to make videos.

Yeah, you can tell that Wyloch has a day job. I feel for the people doing this full time for a job, it does force you to game the system a bit more I think. But I love the chill atmosphere of these videos, and the fact that he seems to only make videos when he's feeling excited.

I recently saw a video from another crafter, can't remember her name that takes a filled balloon and rubs it on something to create a static charge, then passes it close over the static grass and that makes it stand up a little more.

Dude thanks for reminding me about this what a shocking experience as a naive gamer especially bc you know you didn’t SAVE enough while in town. What a lesson learned. Also reminds me off the random locked doors you can unlock with a rainbow gem only to walk in on a lich in bg2, still talk about that to this day Oh sweet build too

The 'fun' epitaphs (old gags and crap new ones made up by the crowd in the office) made me unhappy when I played BG the first time. I read about the DON'T DO THIS years ago - good to see someone pressing the button. Thanks. Nice Playmobil graveyard you got there. Meanwhile, here's a gag from The Young Ones... Lady pushing dead body on cart: Excuse me, do you dig graves? Neil the hippy: Well, they're all right I suppose.

It's little flavorful pieces like this that are the most charming. In a traditional wargame, this would be maybe difficult terrain. Frequently non descript craters or rubble, but instead you could do something like this with character

I've admittedly only played the second game, so my mind conjured up a sinister conspiracy. I thought that the secret might be that the cozy cemetary is actually the lair of a vampire coven, which routinely "thins the herd" in the village, but the townsfolk have a Derry situation going on and act oblivious to all this, pretending that they live in a truly idyllic place. My assumptions were mostly due to that graveyard of yours looking even nicer than the one in the game. :)

☢PLEASE READ!☢You made a great video (as always), and I was just watching your dungeon tiles and dungeon loot video and I was wondering if you could include the scale?? If not totally okay because I know that you already put in soooo much work into these videos and figuring out the scale would just be another thing to do. But my brother and I are trying to find things in a particular scale and if you included it it would be super helpful! Thanks so much!! 😀 Also, I'm a huge DnD fan and I love all the DnD related videos that you do!!! And again, I totally understand that figuring out all the scales is super tedious so if you don't want to include them, totally don't have to!

Dang, i lost count of how many times i played baldur's gate but i don't remember taking this encounter on. With regards to the building, is there some reason why you didn't prepare the gravestones and rocks beforehand and embedding them in the grout while it dries?

Harder than the final boss? And I had to use story mode for that boss! One of the rare times I use it mind you, I'd made it that far after all. BG2 I only tended to used it when dealing with Red Wizards or Drow. Magically enhanced enemies man, I am terrible at dealing with them in BG2!

@ratchetmechani2002
@ratchetmechani2002 Жыл бұрын
@@rattusludus8528 There's sort of a stigma about what difficulty people play their games on. On the one hand I took laugh at the game journalist who couldn't get past Cuphead's tutorial, on the other hand seeing David Jaffe say Metroid Dread has bad game design when in one of his own games (Twisted Metal 2) the game locks half of the game behind playing on medium or higher and calls you a loser if you play on easy, that's just obnoxious! As for me I try to beat a game (mostly) normally my first playthrough. If nothing else I'm proud to say I beat Firkraag completely normally!
