Thank you for calling out the “conversation piece during an RP encounter” use for terrain. I’m a huge fan of using them for that, and it’s great to know I’m not the only one.

My husband is the gamer and painter/ terrain builder and has been watching your videos for years! I have watched right along with him! I can’t believe only 20% of your views are from subscribers, so I have subscribed! I love your down to earth, easy to follow tutorials. I have watched you interview, read stories, try out paint sets and do projects. I love that your videos are for every skill level and don’t require expensive machinery. Your kids are absolutely adorable and I always look forward to your videos. “Make stuff and play games!”

Tool- people who rhinestone costumes often use a wax pencil-stick to pick up and deposit the stones onto the glued surface. Not as helpful for moving them after, but less pinching than tweezers, and it's kinda wild that it works.

Man, this is BEAUTIFUL! Really really beautiful! Only small point of improvement is that a jeweller might have drawers of the same type of gem per drawer (one for topaz, one for emeralds, etc), rather than a pile of different gems in each like in a dragon's hoard. But besides that, super beautiful!

For the doors, you could make them swing-able with just a few small additions. 1) In the little gap between the cardboard sheets, you can pop in a toothpick to act as a hinge. 2) On the "bottom" of the door, glue in a bit of metal wire. Make sure the wire works with magnets! 3) Directly in the middle of the base, put in a magnet. This will hold the door "closed." 4) Using the door as a guide, glue the two sides of the doorframe directly to the base. 5) Before putting in the top of the frame, stab the toothpick into the bottom piece of foam. 5) Attach the top of the door frame. Again, stab the toothpick into the top-frame's foam as you do so to complete the hinge. Now you should have a swing-able door that uses the toothpick. When you want the door closed, a magnet will hold the bit of wire you have on the door to keep it shut. Then you can push it open to reveal that it is now an open door. If really desired, a second magnet could be installed to keep the door in an "open" position as well.

Yeah I did a video on open-able doors many years ago. I've not found em to be worth the investment over time but they can be fun to make!

The amount of inspiration a crafter possesses, is shining when he begins to modify all sorts of unorthodox material to use it in order to create something completely different from the original. An earring as a scale, pieces of paperclip as tools, capacitors as mugs, thin eye pin rods as magnifying lens on another earring as a base in order to create a primitive microscope of sorts, this I what I call imagination. Combine it with patience and you work miracles. Beautiful project my friend. Subbed. But I also liked the transition at 5:37 from imperial to metric when you mentioned the thickness of the chipboard. You Americans are unbelievable.. When the going gets tough, I mean tiny, the Tough switch to metric lol.😂

You should check out some of the medieval shops in old Jerusalem. They have a great feel, and are still there, so you can get current photos. As are old Petra.

Seems like the new workspace is inducing a bit more calm into your builds. Great work on everything Bill! I have abandoned wargaming and RPGs but as a decades old model builder I still appreciate learning something new every time I watch!
