It's gonna be so awesome to meet anyone capable of handling this power for even just drag racing. They'd have to be the batshit crazy ass adrenaline chaser that dies soon after! (And before anyone gets any ideas, I'm not against 3K or 10K nor do I care where or how it's used, internal combustion is the solution to everything incl speed & power)

As an American, I would like to thank Fullboost for opening my eyes to the Australian performance automotive scene 🇦🇺. Since I’ve been into Ford 351 Cleveland based engines for 40 years, the Fullboost video featuring a Dandy Engines built 461 Clevor with Higgins Race Heads and intake, really blew my mind ! This video featuring Frank and the crew at Dandy building the billet Barra is equally amazing. I even enjoyed reading the comments because I didn’t see any confused Chevy fanboys claiming the LS engine was far superior. That tired old LS bullshit is wearing pretty thin nowadays. Thanks for keeping it real guys 🏁.

@@gibbsey9579 Talent like Franks is definitely worthy of a full length interview. Tim is a longtime friend of mine and I’m proud of everything he does to preserve the early years of Pro Stock Drag Racing history and promote the legendary Cleveland engine and those individuals who are currently involved with keeping it in the winners circle around the world 🇺🇸🇦🇺🏁.

Impressive engine. We went 8.22 at 175mph (in a relatively light 2860lb car) running the most basic of Barra's. It was machined and the short block assembled by Dandy Engines (Stock block, crank, head, cams, etc). They really do know their stuff. Great video guys.

Cool to see brass and copper valve seats. Looks like jewellery.
@bvward5 ай бұрын
It may be an Iconel or titanium alloy. Not sure if brass or copper would tolerate the heat...
@Thundarr9955 ай бұрын
@bvward Yes, those valve seats are probably made of beryllium copper. They are for super tight tolerances. + or - .001 - .002. Also, they expand and contract at a similar rate as aluminum. I actually just found out about these a few weeks ago. I may have the head rebuilt for a vintage motorcycle I'm restoring. The machinist was going through different options. I'm pretty much going to have to have the valve seats replaced,they are pitted badly. In fact I may just buy a different head that doesn't need so much work.

Unfortunately I'm not sure it's possible, falcons are bloody heavy even a ba xr6 is 1700kgs. My fgs 1750kgs I'm at 480whp 775nms and barely cracking the 11 with an 11.94@114 through a tr6060, an auto might crack an 11.8 ,hell u need 700hp just to run 10.00s in them 😬🤣 You'd need approximately 3k hp atw just to crack a 6. Jun11 is around 3500hp to run 6.30s and it's lighter than a falcon.
