Appreciate the video with the concern about the average home user. I do have a 110 V welder, now I just need to get me a nice metal saw and an acetylene torch so I can handle that 1/4" plate steel!

I wish more people on KZbin had tripods like you do - does a good job

Do you tow it with that Grand Cherokee? I have one and was wondering if it will pull enough
@GordonRobertsonDIY6 жыл бұрын
Yes, it handles the boat fine.

Gordon Robertson Do you have any upgrades to help with towing? Or is it all stock?
@GordonRobertsonDIY6 жыл бұрын
All stock on the car. I extended The trailer tongue on another video.

Nice job. I'd like to see it in the water. Thanks for sharing

I like night fishing, I rarely take the boat out in daylight but I do have a pond with a ramp, maybe I'll get a chance to attach another video to this one putting it in my pond. Thanks.

Do you do work for other people or just work at the shop for yourself - just curious

I'm a truck driver most of the time, I used to be a mechanic, and a welder, I do all of my own repairs at home, sometimes I do repairs for other people too.

With moving the boat to the rear, now the heaviest part of the boat is unsupported. I would rather have wet feet vs a broken transom. Not smart.
