You are truly a skilled carpenter and woodsman. When I was a young child I helped build a tree fort and a raft with my brothers. And that is about the extent of it for me - other than building a flower bed, outdoor campfire with rocks, and a small bird feeder. Thank you this was so interesting to see all the tools used.

I have known and heard many times before that viewers will give it a thumbs down to teach you tube that this is not what they want to watch. If you are a viewer that watches only history or games then getting this would lead to a thumbs down. All so it wont show up as a suggestion again. So at least you know KZbin is trying to get others involved that usually would not watch this.

Like watching myself and my dad build a treehouse on the BIG oak tree in our backyard back when I was a kid. Man those were some great times! Treehouses are even better today since you can bring wi-fi, etc. with you outside into your treehouse.

Nice build Andy, I once built a roof using shingles but staggered them so the vertical slits were covered too, it took a lot more shingles but has remained water tight to this day. All the best for the new year Sandy

Greetings from Texas. Nice work. Good thing he just happened to have 50 or so perfectly straight, pre-cut, trimmed, seasoned logs laying around to do this with. I see some nice examples of old style building techniques, but nothing of bushcraft here. Might as well be doing this in a home depot parking lot.
