Your cobblestone road looks good, although I would intersperse ingot pieces in other colors like dark tan, olive green, light bluish grey, etc … I would also remove some of the ingots and replace them with the quarter circle tiles and single tiles or even use trans dark brown tiles for along the curb like there is standing water. You don’t have to go crazy, but small little derivations will improve the overall look for little effort

Oh wow that sounds amazing, I think if I were making it a much older road perhaps in disrepair I'd do something like that. I got a good deal on the dark grey ingots, so thats why i used them all, but in future i think i will intersperse them with other colours especially olive and sand blue if they do them in sand blue. I will be adding a separate curb and drainage along the edge on the baseplate, so it will look more finished. Good ideas though, really appreciate the thoughts, definitely something i'll revisit once i've got the bulk of the front area finished. My plan is to get a basic sort of complete look done, and then revisit areas and add more detail, so it's an ongoing project, but....at any one time it will kinda look finished and presentable.

@@BflyBricks you’d be surprised how a little variation in color and texture can improve a scene
