Looks like you made a full recovery! 👍 The peanut gallery was wondering if you could make a panel extending from the middle slat/piece you just installed on the grill and carry it all the way to the cab with the same air gaps on each side just like the grill sections you manufactured!?!? If that makes any sense?!?! 🤪

👍👌👏 I don't know if you knew already. Speed holes give you round about 0.1 km/h more each! But please don't make a sieve out of your rat rod now! 😁 ;-) 2) Grilled teeth... uhm... teeth grill? On second thought: Maybe a kind of metal hairs would've been a really cool idea!? In the middle just like those skinheads had/have. But now the grilling is done and it looks good too. Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and health.

Hey Dif, Looking good!. But had a question: Your hood/bonnet halves, how are they secured? I might have forgotten if you had showed that. But if you hadn't, then here is an idea. Extend your nose bars that you just finished, around to the sides. It is just an idea you might want to think about or maybe you can use something like that on your next build. Bart

Thanks Bart! Still have to come up with a way to secure them... toying with the idea of leather straps and buckles?

@ratrodsafrica2 жыл бұрын
Hello Frank. Thanks man. The diff, drive train and engine came out of a South African built car from the 1970's, called a Chevrolet 4100. Its the same as the Opel Rekord D Series. Not cars anyone from the US will know. I built my own dually wheels with a spacer to fit to the original bolt pattern
