The wheel came out looking great. Your wife has a great eye for details. Only problem I see is that if you keep it up, you will have to drill new holes in your belt to compensate for them chicken dinners.

I cut wood on my Bridgeport and my Monarch all the time, I also have an old wood lathe but it just isn't as nice to work with. Just clean it up real good and oil everything right after.
