I used to have flush mounts on my MR2 6 years ago. I had them on for almost 10 years and when I got a paint job I went back to the old flip up headlights. It made the car look like an RX7 from the front with the flush mounts and sunroof open.

Just a suggestion, make the eagle eyes amber and try to wire them into the turn signal.

I have to give you props; these are true CUSTOM headlights. Spray painting the stock reflective buckets and throwing in a set of retrofit projectors is not "custom". Very few people are actually making NEW headlights like you did

@@scantronsgarage sadly, people want instant gratification. I saw a video the other day purporting to show the benefits of "carbon-look" hydro dipped headlights over actual carbon fiber housings. It was all about ease and quick turnaround time. Thank goodness there are still folks like you that skip the easy way in exchange for truly custom, quality work

Great skills, man. I’m thinking about upgrading my own custom MR2 headlight units with Xenon projectors but I’m not sure about their legality on U.K. roads. Food for thought though. Thanks for the video.

Might be worth looking into. I would imagine as long as you aim them properly there would be no issue.

@@scantronsgarage HID headlights need to have a self-levelling system (whether automatic or controlled from a switch on the dash) so I would have to design something like that. Very tricky.
