Great job! I would have blocked off the light shining towards the front where the screen is 👍🏾
@kevinolsen734 жыл бұрын
We actually did. It was the first thing I noticed when we tested it. 😅 I ended up putting a strip of wood across the front to block the light and straighten up that edge :)

My equipment contains the AMKI model #QJ-L032 LED Light Engine. Please tell me how you mount this type of device in your project? What do you suggest I use? Thank You!

What size of wood did you get?
@kevinolsen734 жыл бұрын
I used 3 4'x8' sheets of paneling. Which gave us a ceiling of 8'x12'. :)

Kevin Olsen thank you very much how did you hang it? I’ve got a concrete ceiling so I was thinking of hanging it using the boxing hook thing but I’m not sure if I should use chains to hold it in place
@kevinolsen734 жыл бұрын
@@gamingofthelegend3907 I screwed long eye bolts into the the joists(studs) and used chains :) It was great because I could assemble the whole thing on the ground and just clip the chains on to hang it.

That did sound like a dumb question...Well, I made mine with 4’x8’ foam board insulation. I found it too time consuming to drill all the holes...so I used the screwdrivers from one of those mini-kits for jewelry/battery changes. It worked great, and made it so kids could help out. I didn’t know if you used a drill or punch method. :)

Maybe 10-15 hours. I did this over the course of several days after work. It could probably be done in a weekend. :)

How many light engines you used in total for this setup?
@YumiiMawneeProjects5 жыл бұрын
Just one with 410 lights. If we could do it again I would use two smaller engines so we could have multiple colors.
