Bought my card in 2022 and it had a (not sufficient but still) thermal pad right on the sink. I guess msi revised this issue , id still recommend swapping it (~15° mem temps for me after swapping it)

Judging from the lack of replies I am pretty sure you won't answer this question but maybe some else will chime in. What cutter wheel did you use?

The website recommends anything for wood (less teeth per inch) but the one he’s using appears to have several tpi maybe for metal. I imagine any would do the trick. What did you end up using?

I have the exact same stone ledger I need to cut, with the exact circular saw you have sitting behind you? Will that work? Or is the blade the most important?

I spent so much time trying to miter them. The difference in stone sizes on each panel made it insanely difficult to get a clean finish. Tried filtering through boxes to match up pieces together but that was very time consuming . Ended up just butting the corners and grouting the seam. Came out great

So I know this video is old but how did you do the RGB part? Is it just plexy glass with an RGB rope?
@Mawnee
@Mawnee 2 жыл бұрын
It's plexiglass resting in the area that I routered out. I put led strip lights up under the lip. I used opaque plexiglass so the light could be seen, but not all the wires. That was the main purpose of that area. It made cable management a breeze.

Dude the MSI factory I think they copied your idea, because I just bought a new MSI Gaming Z RTX 3080 12GB and they put a thermal pad between the heatpipes and this metal memory braket, and the Memory VRAM are actually at great temp.
