When you said you were going to take along the 550 I thought Chris might have brought over the 550 Volvo 😂

those are great little machines. I do PDIs on them making sure the customer is happy with his or her purchase. as with any brand of mini like this, proper maintenance is the key to longevity and excellent service. I've seen 500-hour machines look like 5k-hour machines. it's all about maintenance. cheers from Louisiana.

Been working on the same project. 100’s of saplings to clear and stack. Don’t know if you have Pecan there but they are tough. The tap root is bulged just under ground and is long. Very tough to grub out. I can take out a 10” Ash in as much time as it takes to get a 4” Pecan. Love the content, keep it coming!

That had to feel good clearing out all of that underbrush and briars. Love brushhogging all of that stuff down but this has to rank higher than that. fun watching machinery that can not only plow through it but also pick stumps and logs as you go. A good operator makes it look way easier than it is.

I just spent 2 days this week doing the same thing and I was thinking it would be neat to see how you do it. You must have read my mind. Back during covid our local nursery supply closed and I bought 150 thornless Blackberry plants for 150.00. Planted them 20' apart along some of our shooting lanes and food plots. I trim them in Jan/Feb with a sickle mower to about 2' tall. The new growth brings in the deer and turkeys.

Blackberry bushes - do the local animals eat the fruit or are the bushes a pest please? Agree with controlled burns - sorely needed to control the underbrsu and larger fires. Great informative video thanks.

You should invest in a bobcat and a brush mower. That would cut through that like nothing.
@cotontop3
@cotontop3 Жыл бұрын
You are right, it would cut right through it but you're looking at $120k for a machine/mulcher head for about 30 minutes of work. Also at the first ditch crossing the bobcat would have sunk more than likely and I would have had to drag it out.

Tim, do you prefer the jawbone bucket over hydraulic thumb ? Ever thought about putting a saw holder somewhere on the mini? This rain sucks. Up here in SC now. Hours and hours of it makes for a miserable day
