Replacing the tracks and not the sprockets is a mistake I used to make those sprockets are so worn they will rip those new tracks up I do like the track pattern you chose great traction
@pmiller78862 жыл бұрын
Agreed, Jesse watches the money close though. If the new tracks get damaged he will address it before it goes bad.
@derrillbalshaw11992 жыл бұрын
A lot of Skid steer owners change the drive sprockets at the same time as fitting new tracks. It make the tracks last longer. Because fitting new tracks on old drive sprockets, wears the tracks out far quicker due to the worn teeth damaging the new tracks.
@stuartandrews43442 жыл бұрын
Wouldn't dream of fitting new tracks without replacing sprockets..
@chillywilli2 жыл бұрын
It is exactly what I thought as well. You are suppose to replace both, because they wear out both at the same time. The new tracks are wearing more in the beginning because of the difference between the two.
@jmuller862 жыл бұрын
I didnt realize that you should do it every track change, I thought it was every other one. The sprocket doesnt look too worn to me

Depends. As a homeowner just doing things around your property, tires are far less maintenance and cost. But as a business owner, you can’t really beat a track machine.
@jmuller862 жыл бұрын
I like the tracked machine alot more, but wheeled machine is half the price usually so you could almost have 2 for the price of a tracked machine....that being said the tracked machine has unbeatable pushing power.

191: GOD, I AM convinced that these band designs r not the way to drive these skid steers. I talked about fork tires w/soft shains old school far more durable working 7k hours normal life span far great design front & back end, we hve gone backwards w/bands. They might still impove them. I talked about two band design, 1 that wire spider lie wepping that streach & top band screws down into. But that not making top band 7k hours durable.
