Building Flood Disaster | Teardown

A short story video on a college dorm that floods after heavy storms cover the skies! Quite a dark and harsh weather video.
Also for the past week, I have been trying to increase the quality of the recording and published video, so you may see an increase in video quality and bit rate.

It really depends on how big the map is and how many objects it’s effecting I did this with a winter Russian city it lagged but it did not crash

I made a local copy of the map then just copied water from another map and pasted it in.

It's really just like electrical blows or something. I mainly just add explosions for the action because that is what Teardown is about.

Hello, how did you change day to night and vice versa on the same map? and water? Did you do the destruction again every time, or did you somehow save the destruction?

For the map I used, it had a thunderstorm option, but otherwise I would use a mod that changed the weather. The ones I use are called “AlwaysSunny”, “AlwaysNight” and “AlwaysRain” or something like that. You can find these on the workshop for Teardown, sorry I’m not currently on Teardown so I can’t remember the names and that. The water was added into the map using the map editor in Teardown, there should be a tutorial somewhere showing how to use the editor if you’re not sure on how to use it. I had to do the destruction again as I can’t save it and change the weather at the same time unfortunately. I hope this helps!

However, if the audio is from a much older alert, then the creative licensing is acceptable for scene embellishment.

The flood mod I use is called "Flooding (A.K.A Sinking Maps)". This mod will allow you to increase or decrease the height of the water in a map.
