I am building a 20 ft long sawmill I am naming FrankenMIll because it is made up of many different parts. This is a mobile sawmill with a crane and winch to help loading logs onto the mill.
The mill itself is a Harbor Freight sawmill but it will also be heavily modified over time. I already have 8 ft of custom made track extensions for it.
Today the whole family got involved in putting the sawmill onto the trailer I had designed and built for it.
I was so happy to be able to use the removable crane to help load the sawmill itself onto the tracks. This worked just as I had dreamed.

You're going to want to put the 4x4's directly under the log bunks or you'll wind up bending the frame rail.

Good point. Now I have to rework my idea because the bolts are what hinder me in the first place. Hmm.

might just notch the 3 4x4s a bit for the support of the odd angle iron frame rather than stacking washers or spacers under the rest of the frame. Cool project, thanks for the videos

well all the ones iv seen set on the ground,,like a final resting place,,,with no wheels,,when u start putting logs on there,,there heavy..it needs the ground to hold all the weight...course they brought mills into the fair with wheels on them,,as i remember...may be it will work..love that thing,,wish i had one to make boards...Troy you can only do with what you have ,,things can straighten out later...you can always move it,,just watch picking up logs it dont try to tip over..my brother in law has a tractor with a long pole on the back for picking up logs,,so easy..but i still think that should set on cement blocks sturdy..oh well i hope it works out..you got trees to cut or are you going to buy your logs to cut...you have to get a medal detecter to for nails in wood..i watch ,,shawn at out in the woods,,he got a nice wood master mill..you may check him out,,smart guy....Mark Galicic has a round saw mill with a 50 some blade,,hes good to...these guys are very smart on wood....be careful Troy..hi to all

I checked a mess of their channels. Look like legit channels with real content. So my next guess is that they were all hacked and controlled by a bot. I figure someone paid a hacker to harass me with a botnet for a while. I bet most of the channels commenting do not even know what is going on.
