Playing with european equipment is fun sometimes . The times I have been over there its interesting to see how they farm. What they call big tractors we would call them small here in america. I love watching clarkson farms on amazon. Really cool to see them farming. he has just over 1000 acres and they call it a large farm. Here that wouldnt even pay the bills haha.

European maps do generally have small fields. This map has many as well, but also some around 20ha. That said, as far as the game goes, Eastern European maps have likely the largest. The biggest fields I've personally seen are in SVC Gorbany, which has a couple of fields in the hundreds of hectares, and that's mapped after a real location in Ukraine. That's a 16x map, and I thought about using it for this series, but the fields are just too big to work into short episodes, and the map weighs in at 2gb which is tough on the fps. And then there are the Russian farms. This map is just regular sized, but Russian modders generally go big with their maps. There are many that are 16x to 64x, and have massive, massive fields and are real locations. That said, these two countries are like the US in having lots of rural area for farming. I picked Baldeykino for this series because it has a good mix of Eastern European charm, gorgeous views everywhere, and every size of field, from small village fields in the backyards, up to big enough for a short video series.

Oh, and also, as far as equipment... I tried to go as realistic as I could setting up the mods for this series and spent a minute looking at farms over there. I live in an area not unlike this in American terms, and here you see largely domestic equipment from the 80's and 90's on the small farms around me. There are some big fields where I live, and that's where you see the big equipment. As far as I can see, it's the same over there. They're generally small farming towns like I live in and so generally have small equipment, but in the East you see some seriously big stuff to work the big fields. There's some big equipment I've seen on KZbin working on farms in Ukraine - "Europe's Breadbasket". All that to say, it seems much as here, where they have the space anyway, with a lot of weight on smaller domestic equipment for smaller farms and big stuff out in the large areas.
