Elvis my brother, those people are way too expensive and I don’t care what anyone says. You can get a 8-12 camera system with 2T hard drive control center on Amazon for less than $700. Each camera will come with a 50-foot cable in the box. Alternatively, you can go with a Ring security system with wireless connections to the main set up. You can also get a Ring Video Doorbell for both front and back door of the house. With the Ring security floor light camera system, they come with their own floor lights which they can shine and record when anyone passes by in the night. Gone are the days when people with money will pay exorbitant prices for mediocre work. If you can get internet to the house, you can remotely be alerted while you’re outside the country when people approach your door. I plan to get the wired and wireless system both installed on my place

You cant compare electronics prices in Africa and USA. In USA you do not need an electric fence, and most probably are not allowed to build one. Thieves have a right to practice their profession, whiteout the risk of being physically harmed. If he falls into trap on your property you will pay his halthcare bills.

Your reply comment is showing that you're either a guy that owns an electric fencing company or Home Security installation business or someone who goes around breaking into people houses, so which one is it? @@Bilegagn You told to get camera system for 700$ on Amazon. Is shipment and taxes in that price it ship to Ghana (Africa). Electric fencing was mentioned in the video. I am from Europe, never been to USA. In Europe if at thief will get injured in a trap on your property, that is designed to harm potential intruders, owner is responsible for that.

Elvis , next time go for an NVR . Using a DVR will cost you more money. If you had use an NVR the cat6 STP will have been your data(video) transmission and also power. The NVR has POE capabilites to power the camera up so the cameras would have received power from the NVR. This will have save you the cost of the Video balun and the power distribution box in amount of GHC 815

NVR and IP cameras are so much easier to install and expand. I do not understand why All cameras have 2.8 mm lenses. Wider angle is not always better, the person needs to be very close to the camera to be able to recognize him. It is better to put few wide angle cameras that overview the property, and narrower lense cameras on key areas, like a gate, road that brings to your house, so you can recognize something in the distance.

I will personally buy my stuff from China and do it myself. But it's really not cheap. Your land is big and you're using way too many cameras. 11? Plus it looks like you didn't make provision for the cameras during the build (CCTV PVC).

I think buying from China will also cost as you said…Yh provision wasn’t made for cctv but it’s can be done even when the house is complete, that’s what they told me.
