thank you bro. i love this idea of building a kitchen cabinet with blocks, as for me i will go with block cabinet in my kitchen and not because i don"t have the cash for wood cabinet but because it does not last long. all the disadvantage of wooden cabinet you mention early in your vid is what is actually happening to me now in my kitchen.
@ghfame1tvАй бұрын
Exactly, the blocks are always better. if you focus well on the finishing trust me you will like it even more.

Thanks for sharing this. My tiller also suggested this to me and I was skeptical but the cost made sense to and it’s more durable. I can’t wait to see the end result. In my opinion, if they can seal the concrete, it could be use for the sinks as well. We should be creative with our local materials

But you can do it in a way no blocks under an the carpenter will used wooden doors and the under will be spacious for you to put anything there
@ghfame1tv3 ай бұрын
The structure needs pillar u can’t just leave it like that without blocks or concrete pillar, you want it to collapse. If you want you can construct yours as you want it all depends on you.

Can the concrete blocks handle a marble/granite worktop?
@ghfame1tv9 ай бұрын
Yes it can handle the marble/granite.. I’m even suggesting that for the finishing incase i won’t tile..
@l.e.sparklesfkaelliesparkl58759 ай бұрын
@@ghfame1tv i prefer that to tile. The grout makes it unattractive i think
@oyebolaadepoju8798 i used 5” Solid Blocks.. but you should use the squared Pavement blocks so that the legs will be thin, it looks more attractive and spacious that way.. or better still let the carpenter mold the legs thin and pour concrete in it.. watch the part 2 is available on the channel you will understand what i’m talking about

What’s the thickness for the concrete
@ghfame1tv6 ай бұрын
2 inches. I didn’t like it big.. so 2 inches was okay for me. But you can do at least 2.5 inches, it makes sense and looks more professional as compared to the ones we see online
