If your screeding is not very thick close to your doors height then this method can be applied, but if the screeding is almost at your door height then you just have to lay it the normal way, then maybe in your next project you don’t do screeding before tiling.

I used Chinese tiles for my rooms for 18yrs now ,they are fitted and intact.for durability it also depend on the tiler being professional.

For the living area, what kind of rubber did you use and why? Was it a DPM?

I use DPM , because of future dampness , although the area is not salty but i still use it to prevent it in the future. Whether the land is salty or not, it’s very important to use a DPM before you cast your main concrete.

I first bought part in May & October 2023 and I bought the recent ones in June 2024. Some of the Tiles have discount in them but the discount will be applied if you’re buying many boxes as the discount may required. So if you to the showroom the discount tiles are been labeled & written on them. The tiles are bought in West Africa Deco @ Achimota Mile 7 Junction Near Peace FM

Tilers now work with Square Meters, they no longer work with feet(ft) measurement anymore, so you will use the square meter of each room to get the tiles because the tiles shop will ask for the square meter of the room and give you the boxes of tiles that will be needed.

can you skip compound concrete when tiling the compound to do that chinese style? im thinking of tiling my compound but the cost of concrete then tile is too expensive

For the compound you need to do the first concrete that will cover the soil before this method can be applied. You can do the concrete normal or light rather than doing it too thick.
