I don't know why, but listening to Kayak talk about her cats and their updates, or her talking about her likes/dislikes about the game (i.e. not liking huge houses because it's hard to find her Sim), while we're watching her speed builds, brings me so much comfort. I have a similar story to your kittens! At my old job there were always stray cats around the dumpsters and wouldn't let anyone near them, a lot of workers/customers tried bringing them home but they always had too many diseases and would shortly pass away. One night I was leaving work and found a fluffy cat that was in that awkward-lanky-teen faze. He let us pet him and feed him and a few of my coworkers were trying to get each other to bring him home, I ended up bringing him home to put up for adoption because my mom didn't want another animal in the house but my dog ended up getting really sick and we had to put her down a little after Christmas, so my mom gave me a late Christmas gift, a collar with his name on it. He's named after a burger sold at my old job, Jesse James. We've had him for just over a year now. He's fatter and fluffier than our other cat just like your kitten.

Consider, solid color challenge but you have to go by the sorting system in the Sims. So only items that the game considers to that color rather than going off of it you consider to be that color. I feel like this could get pretty silly because some things are sorted very oddly.

Beautiful build ❤. No joke - peach gen was the hardest to play with, color theme wise. I did more personal recolors for them than anyone else! Pink is easier to furnish but not that much easier to dress when your pink heir happens to be male (Orange gen's wife naturally got pregnant with twin boys and I never cheat the sex so 🤷‍♀). I got pink a hamster to start his postcard collection storyline and I totally got the glitch - I was wondering what the heck was going on with poor Hammy! Interesting that the idea was to treat the joke star thing as a mid-life crises - for my peach gen he loved comedy from toddlerhood and wanted to be a comedian as a kid, but became a detective after solving the Strangerville mystery as a teen. I sort of accidently ended up with a whole storyline involving his husband and Nancy Landgraab (long story) that kept him plugging away at policing until he finally made chief. That's one of the beautiful things about NSB, how so many of us can play it but no one plays it exactly the same way 😊

Simsie have you considered writing a "Not So Berry Revamp"? Shuffle the colours so you don't have pink orange peach all in a row, change up the rules and aspirations and such. Add in alternate routes to go down if you have certain packs (like Green Gen is a base game compatible farmer, but if you have cottage living you must also keep one of each type of animal at all times. Or yellow gen wants to be a joke star, but if you have get famous they must actually become a star.) I think it could be fun!

For the peach color i think the reason it looks more orangey - Yellowy ish is possibly due to them going off the coloring of the japanese peach which kind of orangy looking unlike the more redish look an American peach has

21:55 is so true! i play the sims 3 and as a kid, i would use money cheats all the time but now as an adult, i had a mod that makes my sims' bills extortionately high. also, if my sims get gifts from other sims, we don't sell it if we don't want it - we delete it or regift it - like i'm going out of my way to make my sims struggle for money lol

I love the not so berry challenge, with mine when I build my houses if the thing I need doesn't come in the specific color I usually pick one color (usually black or white) that it comes in and use that instead which is usually only like toilets, tvs, etc

When the Sims 5 finally releases, I can't wait for a rewrite of this challenge to suit the new game. 😍 I must also say Miss Kayla inspired me to make hidden object builds. Functionality in my builds is a must, but it's fun to put random objects in a build while trying to disguise them as something else or rather part of something else. I also need to come up with all the rules of this 😂😂😅
