How many bricks would it take to make ACTUAL life size Minecraft items? It’s confirmed that a Minecraft block is a cubic meter or around 3.2 feet tall and each block has 16 pixels in it. We divide 1 (One cubic meter) by 16 (pixels) which equals 0.0625 meters which is around 2.4 inches which makes one Minecraft pixel 2.4 inches. From the lowest and highest point on a Minecraft sword is 16 pixels total so x 2.4 inches we get 38.4 inches (3.2 feet) so a Minecraft sword is the same height as a block. For the shield we take the height of it which is 22 pixels x 2.4 inches and we get 52.8 inches which is 4.4 feet. (A ton of bricks!)
