For the transparent piece rule, I once stuck a transparent flagpole piece into another transparent 1x1 cone. they got bonded together and remain stuck to this day, and attempts to get them unstuck has left a fracture down the side of the cone

4:17 this is incredibly useful for Stop Motions. If you need a quick, temporary wall, you can just take some larger plates from Minecraft sets and put them between bricks (if you’re putting two right next to eachother though, I recommend connecting them on the back, as it will help to close the gap and prevent one from falling over more than the other.).

The grave piece they used on the haunted house set is actually slightly thinner than a regular lego plate/tile. Therefore it doesn't break the rules and cause the piece below it to bow out.

9:19 that's literally what the bottom tubes are designed for... to be able to "squeeze" them between four studs. Have you ever looked at the bottom of a brick or plate? They have the same tubes and those tubes get squeezed between studs everytime you stack the brick or plate onto another brick or plate.

Actually lego bricks interlock and fit together with tension, this does not stress the part as the studs aren't being squeezed. The kind of stress that is produced by illegal techniques will result in noticeable deformations over time such as snapping, stretching, or bending.

Darth Stressius: *Did you ever hear the story of Darth Illegus The Wise?* Studakin: no? Darth Stressius: *I thought not, it’s not a story a Master Builder would tell you. It’s a criminal legend. Darth Illegus The Wise was an illegal Lego builder, so wise with illegal building techniques, that he could even build Lego under stress without any piece breaking.* Studakin: He could actually build illegally without pieces breaking? Darth Stressius: *Illegal building techniques is a pathway to many techniques some consider to be, unnatural…* Studakin: What happened to him? Darth Stressius: *He became so knowledgeable with illegal Lego designs, that the only thing he was afraid of was wearing out his Lego, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately he taught his KZbin audience everything he knew, then, because he no longer had any working Lego, his audience unsubscribed while he was asleep. Ironic… he could teach others how to illegally build Lego, but couldn’t do it himself anymore.* Studakin: Is it possible to learn these illegal building techniques? To get out the cheese slopes you can use hot water (be carefull as water which is too hot will permanently damage the bricks, I am not sure when ABS becomes maleable but that's not what you want) the hot should bloat up a bit and reduce the grip on the cheeseslopes.

4:20, 9:18: These techniques aren't illegal. They have been used in official Lego sets ever since. E.g. set 358 Rocket Base. There you have both: plate between studs for the antenna and round brick between studs for the top of the rocket. And that is totally fine, as Lego pieces were designed to fit like this.
@cookiecreeperplayz

While the stud technique is legal, the plate one isn't. Lego has officially changed their mind on the plate technique as the stud doesn't allow one side to go all the way down bending the plate. Tiles however are legal as they are flat.
