This video is so sick. I ordered the candy blue Trickstar frame and forks and I finally have 95% of the parts for the build. Mine will be candy blue and white. My best friend had a white and pink one as a kid. It was like he had the Ferrari in the neighborhood and we all took turns riding it around the block. I can't wait to relive the memory soon as well. Seeing that smile on your face when you first sat on the bike is priceless.

SO GOOD!! But you mean to tell us you built that whole bike with no hiccups??!!
@TheNostalgicNeighborhood4 ай бұрын
Thanks 🙏 LOL on the hiccups. I hear you, no build ever happens without some sort of hiccup. I had planned this for a long time and done my homework pretty well. So no big hiccups for the most part, just slow going that I edited down or else the video would be too long. The one main hiccup that I did gloss over is the Haro headset is a piece of crap. The crown race was too tight for the fork, so I sanded the inside of it using a drum sanding spindle on my drill press a little bit to get it to fit. Not a big deal, but time consuming. Adding the guts to that seat was super difficult because the rails were narrow… it took a lot of fiddling to get it to fit. And of course I wasn’t paying attention and put it on backwards and had to take it off and do it again. 🤣 I edited that out for time. And I forgot that I needed a bigger washer for that DIY tool to press in the bottom bracket, I was going to cut a wood block but totally forgot… so I just pressed both sides in together. But for the most part it went together really well.
