Building my dream DIY Seat Ibiza Sim Rig in 5 minutes

This is the 5-minute-build video of our Seat Ibiza race sim rig. We have done this project during the first covid lockdown.
Used car: 2000 Seat Ibiza 1.9 TDI
Used components:
- keyboard controller for the buttons in the dashboard
- Old sharkoon 300 watt ATX Powersupply
- Arduino Uno for the dash and gauges
- Raspberry PI 4, 4GB for the navigation panel with extra dash displays
- Thrustmaster RS500 wheel and pedals
- Thrustmaster shifter
- Thrustmaster Sparco handbrake
- Simhub software

Using real car parts makes so much sense. The decision to cut the car to save space also made a lot of sense. If there was an arcade where there was a real car being used as a game controller, I'd go there. What a cool idea.

Даже не пожалели деньги на старую машину. Разрезали часть, передней. И еще комнату перетащили. Это большая работа. Но оно этого, стоило. Браво и парнишке за гениальность. As the "GameBoy" was released, it took 2 years.....a lot of saved money and a big spend of my grandma before I finnaly could play super Mario. The monitor can be turned aroudn 180 degrees in order to sit at a desk in the engine bay and use the computer as a regular PC / Workstation

There is another video on the channel with more technical info, basically it is easyer on a car from the pre canbus era (like ours), you will just need some transistors, a 12 volt power supply, an arduino and the sim hub software ... we spend most time on re-engineering the pin out of the dashboard as car manufactors are not keen to give you those details, not even in their tech workplace handbooks.
